Ollingegaard Mejeri Okologisk Chocomaelk

Awesome aesthetics— whether in its separated or shaken state. It’s a very unique flavor— heavily sour, but swept away by a luxuriously creamy wave. It’s remarkable, in the sense that I’ll remember it for a long time and at some point in my life another taste of something will transport me momentarily back to Copenhagen in remembrance.

Cogo Kakaodrik

Reminiscent of Ucal (Portugal)-- has a great creamy taste without the unnecessary viscosity. The slightly sour cocoa flavor pairs nicely with the great texture. It settles quickly, which shouldn't be an issue— you’ll want to flush it down your esophagus posthaste.

Hatchland Farm "Wicked Good" Chocolate Milk

Feels bland at first taste, but eventually the cocoa shines through. The dialed-back sweetness likely helps the cocoa rise to prominence, but I was also hoping for more salt and cream (though it was decently adequate). Has potential, looks beautiful, but lacks the punchy flavor present in many of the elite chocolate milks.

Hofgut Haltbare Schokomilch

Definitely more of a vanilla flavor than a chocolate one, but it works. The salty quality makes you almost think that it’s like a vanilla-peanut butter mixup which, admittedly, isn't chocolate milk— but it’s positioned as such and doesn’t disappoint from a taste perspective.

Spar Batido De Chocolate

Very flavorful and thin/smooth texture with ample creaminess and salt. Doesn’t leave the ‘milk mustache’ residue on the side of the glass— it almost runs down like water, but I can’t deny the dark chocolate taste and overall excellent drinking experience.

Cacaolat Original Batido De Cacao

Strong flavor, viciously attacks the sides and back of the tongue. Very unique and tasty, hard to describe— not quite ‘boozy’ (I wouldn’t like that) but not quite ‘buttery’— but the best qualities of both of those perhaps, if only a little. Sort of like drinking a truffle.
