A pleasantly chocolaty and creamy base hampered by a mild stevia presence, more accurately described as a ‘twang’ than a ‘sting’. Sure, it supports the ’33% less sugar’ claim, but the ~9g sugar reduction doesn’t seem to warrant the flavor sacrifice.
Confidently carries that unmistakeable Jersey-cream flavor to lofty heights by pairing it with malty cocoa and finely-tuned sweet/salty balance. There’s a satisfying girth to its body, though the cream dispersion makes it not only accessible, but highly pleasurable.
A creamy, confidently malty experience not to be overlooked. The base feels slightly less dense than its Hillcrest Dairy cousin, but the cream disperses magnificently and all in all a highly satisfying package.
Substantially built with a buttery, creamy payoff that feels authentic and accentuates the cocoa masterfully.
Delicious from first sip to navel-gazing repose; it’s evident that great care went into the cocoa profile, both in the flavor and how to maintain its presence throughout the experience. The powerful cocoa flavor leaves an ephemeral chalky footprint— one that you’ll want to follow back to the fridge time and time again.
Slightly wild with an under-sweet, powdery cocoa flavor that pairs quite well with its warmly creamy base. The cream’s presence remains long after each swallow, and it just ‘feels’ right.
Powerful flavor comes at the expense of a heavy dose of chalk. Such strong cocoa presence, that it feels like the individual grains of powdered cacao are besieging your tongue with ‘total annihilation’ as their collective charter. Despite vigorous shaking, I couldn’t get all the cream to mix in (which would have mitigated some of the grainy coarseness). All things considered, it's a memorably potent and flavorful chocolate milk that has a place in this world as well as my refrigerator shelf.
Adequately creamy, averagely chocolaty, and pleasant— despite a mildly pervasive aura that I can best describe as that slightly minty paste you may or may not have consumed as a child. Texture-wise, it sports a substantial build with a relatively clean, adhesive-free finish.
